Location:

Westfield, Indiana Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, independent Manufacturing Project Manager to drive complex electronics manufacturing and process improvement projects from concept to delivery. You will be responsible for owning tasks without oversight, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring that technical systems are delivered with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Lifecycle Management:
    Manage projects from requirements gathering to final delivery, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
  • Documentation & Planning:
    Author and maintain precise technical documentation, including SOPs and BOMs; manage project schedules using tools like Excel and Gantt charts.
  • Resource Coordination:
    Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and production resources to ensure seamless execution.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Use data and metrics to drive process improvements; support quoting efforts through labor and material estimation.
  • Communication:
    Act as the primary point of contact between customers, vendors, and internal technical teams.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Engineering Technology, Supply Chain & Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Strong experience with project planning tools (Excel, Gantt charts), technical writing, and familiarity with MRP systems or BOMs.
  • Process Knowledge:
    Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen methods is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:

    Ability to work independently, multitask across shifting priorities, and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
