Shipping Material Handler

IMMI is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Shipping Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the distribution center. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Shipping Department.

• It is mandatory that candidates for interview have experience working in a Shipping environment.
• It is mandatory for the candidate to pass the BAFTE’s background check for the handling of pyrotechnics. Basically, no felonies or arrests for violent or drug related charges.
• Proficient with operating a standup reach truck is mandatory.
• Proficient with operating a sit-down forklift is mandatory.
• Prior experience working with RF scanners and computers preferred.

• The ability to operate powered industrial equipment standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to step up and down, balance, stoop, reach, stand, walk, pull, push, lift, grasp, and do repetitive motions.
• Must be able to work at elevated heights.
• Must be able to lift to 40 pounds constantly, 60 pounds occasionally, and team lifting more than 60 pounds infrequently.
• Must have the ability for close vision, distance vision and depth perception.
• Must be able to work with dirt/dust, noise, and powered industrial equipment.
• The use of high visibility outerwear and toe protection is required.
