Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (with possibility of extension!) | Onsite
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.66/hour (paid weekly!)
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Role Overview:

BEPC Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to join our client's manufacturing team in Westfield, IN! In this hands-on production role, you will help manufacture high-quality medical devices by performing assembly, repair, testing, and documentation activities within a controlled manufacturing environment. You will work with small components used in pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to following quality and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and related components according to established procedures.
  • Handle and maneuver small parts accurately and carefully.
  • Follow written manufacturing procedures and verbal work instructions.
  • Complete production, traveler, and quality documentation accurately.
  • Maintain proper traceability of parts and materials throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Enter and maintain information using electronic data collection systems and computer software.
  • Follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Identify and communicate production, process, or quality concerns to supervisors and management.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives.
  • Support Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing workspace.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work accurately with small components.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems.
  • Ability to maintain clear and accurate production documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to comply with strict gowning, cleanliness, safety, and contamination-control requirements.

Production Area & Dress Requirements:

This position works in a controlled medical device manufacturing environment. Candidates must follow strict cleanliness, gowning, hygiene, and contamination-control procedures. These requirements also apply during production-area tours that may occur as part of the interview process.

  • Clean, non-shedding clothing is required.
  • Fleece, loose knit, frayed, glittered, sequined, or other shedding garments are not permitted.
  • Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes must be worn with socks or stockings.
  • Clothing must appropriately cover the torso, upper arms, and legs and fit underneath required gowning.
  • Makeup, nail polish, acrylic/artificial nails, and scented personal products other than deodorant are not permitted.
  • Jewelry and piercings must be safely covered and cannot interfere with gloves, PPE, or gowning.
  • Employees must comply with all required lab coat/gown, bouffant, PPE, hygiene, and production-area safety procedures.
