Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator – Ambulatory Surgery Center
Location: Carmel / Westfield, Indiana
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused RN Circulator to join a high-performing Ambulatory Surgery Center team in the Carmel/Westfield area. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to ensuring patient safety, efficiency, and excellent clinical outcomes throughout the perioperative process.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe operative environment
Perform pre-operative patient assessments and verify documentation, consents, and surgical site requirements
Coordinate surgical case flow and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs
Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and patient records
Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
Provide patient and family education before and after procedures as needed
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Indiana (or compact license eligible for transfer)
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred or required by start date)
1–2+ years of perioperative or circulating experience preferred
Ambulatory Surgery Center experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work efficiently in a team-driven surgical setting
Full-time position
Day shifts, typically Monday–Friday
No nights, weekends, or major holidays (subject to facility needs)
Fast-paced outpatient surgical environment with a collaborative team culture
$40–$43 per hour (based on experience)
