QA​/QC Inspector

Akkodis is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for a Contract with a client in Westfield, IN. Candidate must have strong inspection capability with the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools as a key qualification for this role.

$18/hour to $19/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Conducting in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints to verify part dimensions and ensure compliance with required specifications.
• Analysing part failures and identifying appropriate corrective actions or solutions.
• Performing audits as required to maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
• Documenting inspection results accurately and communicating issues to relevant teams.
• Supporting continuous improvement efforts by highlighting defects, trends, and process gaps.

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in machining, quality, or inspection preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience required.
• Candidate must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately to support inspection activities.
• Candidate must have proficiency using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for part verification.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
