Maintenance Technician – Westfield Washington Schools – Westfield, IN

Full‑time | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours per Week | Occasional On‑Call Rotation

Pay Range: $18.00 – $26.22 per hour (based on experience, certifications or licences)

We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. This position supports the district by performing preventative and reactive maintenance throughout all WWS buildings and grounds.

• Perform maintenance and repair work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other building systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance and keep accurate equipment logs.
• Work safely and follow all district and OSHA standards.
• Manage daily work orders and plan your schedule efficiently.
• Drive district vehicles between school sites as needed.
• Assist with seasonal work such as snow removal, event support, or traffic control.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and team members.

• Experience in maintenance, construction, or related trades preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely work from heights using lifts and ladders.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to obtain certifications and learn new skills.
• Must provide basic hand tools (specialty tools provided as needed).
