We’re looking for skilled, safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Residential Foundations Division. What You’ll Do

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you’ll play a critical role in preparing and shaping residential job sites. Your responsibilities include:

  • Operating a variety of equipment such as dozers, mini-excavators, and skid steers
    .
  • Managing dirt, gravel, and other materials to ensure precise grading and elevation.
  • Reading and interpreting site plans and performing minor layout tasks.
  • Communicating progress and challenges with your supervisor throughout the project.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe job site and adhering to all safety protocols.
Essential

Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
  • Ability to hold grade and establish elevation accurately.
  • Basic understanding of general construction practices and dirt management.
  • Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for job-related tasks.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
  • Physically able to climb in and out of excavations (6–10 feet deep) and work in muddy conditions.
  • Strong commitment to safety and proper incident reporting.
