$26,000 to $30,000 Annually (salary commensurate with education and experience)

* This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment beyond thegrant period is contingent upon the availability of funding and institutional need. Upon the grant's conclusion, the position willbe evaluated for potential adoption and funding by Westfield State University.

This is a fully in-person position at Westfield State University,with all duties performed on campus during the employee's regularly scheduled work hours to support direct engagement with students,colleagues, and the campus community, unless your position requires travel to perform said duties.

General Statement of Duties:

The IBHE Practicum Coordinator will be responsible for participating in the application process and placement of students at practicum sites. Their focus will be in developing new practicum sites and maintaining existing community partner sites in Massachusetts within integrated behavioral health/primary care/school-based health clinic settings focusing on children,youth, and family. This role will be responsible to provide IBHconsultations to practicum supervisors. This is a half-time (20hours/week) twelve-month position with benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include but not limited to:

Essential:

Work with the Practicum Education Director in developing and maintaining practicum sites, including IBHE sites.
Assist in the practicum placement application process for BSW& MSW students as assigned.
Place assigned BSW/MSW students in appropriate practicum sites.
Participate in planning of BSW/MSW orientations.
Maintain the information contained in the department'sweb-based practicum documentation system and provide assistance to students, practicum instructors, and faculty as needed, includingIBHE data.
Monitor assigned practicum placements and communicate with the Practicum Education Director regarding any potentialdisruptions.
Work with Practicum Director to collect and report annualoutcome data, including IBHC data.
Participate and assist in all Practicum and HRSA Projectrelated events as requested, including Practicum Instructor Orientation, annual conference, and grand rounds events.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
Minimum of 2 years post bachelors' experience
Strong interpersonal, writing, organizational, and computer skills
Possession of a valid driver's license
Knowledge of area social services organizations is preferred
