Senior Magnetics Design Engineer

ECI designs, develops and manufactures state-of-the‑art passive magnetic components for mission‑critical power applications that must perform in the harshest environments. We are seeking an experienced MAGNETIC DESIGN ENGINEER to join our team.

• Lead design of transformers, inductors, planar magnetics, chokes, EMI filters, and high‑voltage magnetic assemblies
• Own designs from customer requirements through validation and production
• Interface directly with defense/aerospace customers and suppliers
• Develop and execute prototype testing and performance validation
• Apply SPICE, 3D CAD, and electromagnetic FEA tools

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field)
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience with magnetic component design and/or SMPS circuits
• Strong understanding of high‑frequency magnetics, materials, and loss mechanisms
• Defense, aerospace, or manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate empowerment, and take accountability for results.
