Position OverviewThe Director of Finance will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and strategic planning. This individual will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, providing insights that support operational improvements and long-term company objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and operational teams
- Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term planning initiatives
- Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, productivity, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and internal controls
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to support business growth
- Prepare and present financial reporting and key performance indicators to senior management
- Manage, mentor, and develop members of the finance team
- Support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and business improvement projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and operational finance
- Proven experience leading teams and partnering with senior leadership
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution
