Clinical Internship- Respite

If you're a 2nd-year Master's student seeking an impactful Respite internship for Fall 2025, we invite you to join our team.

What You'll Do:

As a Master 's-Level Clinical Intern, you will learn to deliver evidence-based, goal-directed care to adults within our respite clinic. You'll work in a safe and supportive environment, where you will work directly with adults who are experiencing mental health challenges, providing one-on-one counseling, needs assessment, and group activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct interviews, observations, and mental status exams to inform treatment plans

* Provide individualized counseling services and facilitate group activities

* Participate in clinical team meetings, supervision, and continuing education

* Collaborate with families, service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care

* Participate in regular supervision and training to enhance your professional skills

What You'll Bring:

* Enrollment in the 2nd year of a CSWE-accredited Master of Social Work program or a Master's program in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, etc. (required)

* Experience working with adults (preferred)

* Familiarity with PC/Windows computers, Microsoft Office programs, and email systems (required)

* Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (preferred)
