Bed management: tracks, prioritizes and assigns beds and coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers;
Utilize multiple computer systems/applications daily (OA Gold, CIS, BMD, PCM Auditor, People Soft, Kronos, etc.);
Provide unit-based support and projects such as payroll and staffing schedules;
Communicate with departments and provide handoffs to ensure timely discharge and patient throughput;
Serve as a greeter and assist with patient and family orientation and unit operations
