Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Type: Fulltime, Non-Exempt

Location: Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Baystate Noble Hospital, a rural community hospital in Westfield, Massachusetts. The Physical Therapist will treat patients on the medical-surgical unit and the Emergency Department.

Lifepoint Rehabilitation partners within Baystate Noble Hospital's 15 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Our rehab professionals offer individualized treatment programs for patients 18 years and older.

The Physical Therapist evaluates patients and implements physically prescribed treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments
• Establishing goals and developing interventions to restore function, reduce pain, prevent disability, and promote mobility
• Using therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, physical agents, and assistive devices
• Educating patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation strategies
• Supervising and delegating tasks to physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel
• Monitoring and documenting progress, and modifying plans as needed

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Physical Therapist License in State
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in a rehab setting preferred

$45.00 - $60.00 per hour
