Job Description
ALIS/MPE Administrator – Supports Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) operations at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. The role maintains data integrity in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Mission Planning Environment (MPE), serving as the primary point of contact during flight and evaluation activities while ensuring system functionality. Applicants must obtain and maintain a Special Access Program clearance required for program access.
Location:
Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. Work schedule includes non‑standard 40‑hour work week and may require overtime and weekend work.
- Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership
- System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring
- Maintain smooth, secure operation of multi‑user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier 2 and engineers
- Perform laptop re‑image, troubleshooting and account maintenance
- Regularly monitor systems/applications for availability and performance
- Train ALIS Administrators or Mission Planning Environment Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed
- Perform COMSEC CRO duties, adhere to requirements and train others in COMSEC
- Support pilots in Mission Planning/Debriefing and identify/resolve system shortfalls
- Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last six years
- Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
- IT experience in system, database, network, or mission planning administration
- Operational support role to an active fighter unit, may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week, including weekends, as dictated by mission requirements
- Ability to adhere to the REAL
- Experience troubleshooting applications
- Account maintenance with Active Directory, Oracle, or CRM
- Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipment
- Virtual Machine Management (Hyper‑V / VMware)
- Hardware maintenance/upgrades and rack component startup/shutdown
- Applying updates, anti‑virus/anti‑spyware updates, and patch updates
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration
- Importing/exporting large data volumes
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software
- Experience supporting U.S. military or foreign military operations
- U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance (preferred)
- COMSEC experience
- Military flight operations & planning processes
- Precision Guided Munitions Planning Software (PGMPS) experience
- Mission Planning Systems Support Representative (SSR) experience
- Personal Computer Debrief Software (PCDS) experience
