CNC Milling Machinist - Aerospace

1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $26.10 - $37.00/hr (based on experience)

Our customer, a well-established aerospace manufacturer, is seeking experienced CNC Milling Machinists to join their growing team. This organization is known for high-precision work, strong quality standards, and a culture focused on craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC milling machines to produce complex aerospace components
  • Perform full machine setups, tooling changes, and first-piece inspections
  • Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and technical instructions
  • Work within AS9100 / ISO
    9001 requirements including documentation, traceability, and lot control
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, preset gages, and other measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust controls, feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Programming on new job setups and tool prove-outs
  • Maintain machines, tools, and work area in a clean and safe condition (6S practices)
  • Complete production paperwork and report discrepancies to supervision
  • Support training of team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Minimum 3 years CNC milling experience
  • Experience performing full machine setups
  • Background machining complex aerospace components (or aerospace manufacturing experience)
  • Ability to read blueprints and change tooling independently
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement and tolerances
Work Environment & Requirements
  • Safety-focused aerospace manufacturing environment
  • PPE required
  • Ability to operate multiple machines of similar function
