This is for our 3rd Shift
, which operates Sunday through Thursday from 11pm - 7am.

How will you make an impact?
  • Provide leadership and guidance in all areas of responsibility for the manufacturing operation. Assigns and coordinates work to be performed with other employees; assists employees in determining work procedures and assists production supervisor in resolving problems as it relates to production and schedules. Plans and coordinates daily production operators with guidance from the production supervisor. Provides short term back-up in the absence of the production supervisor.
  • Set-up, operate, and adjust production equipment in accordance with manufacturing orders (MO), standard operating conditions (SOC), and productions schedule requirements. Follows and monitors safety and security policies and procedures, to include Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and safety committee standards.
  • Monitors and conducts quality tests and inspections for basis weights, print accuracy and quality, color matching, and other requirements to ensure the product meets customer demand. Understands and interprets productions requirements and mentors teams in following compliance with MOs and SOCs. Informs supervisor and management staff of findings and errors as needed.
  • Follows good housekeeping practices and leads by example, following 6S standards. Organizes and mentors teams on clean and efficient work environments in accordance with established standards, productivity levels, housekeeping, and safety requirements.
  • Performs troubleshooting and assists maintenance with performing routine preventative maintenance on machines. Informs supervisor and maintenance staff of mechanical problems as they occur.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and management staff.
Requirements What you will need to be successful in this role:
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience as a machine operator or related duties.
  • Prior leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and write, with basic math skills. Comprehensive mechanical background is preferred.
  • Good communication skills with a strong ability to lead in a team environment. Must demonstrate critical thinking skills with an ability to teach and mentor others.
  • Able to work within physical limits of the job. Job can and will include standing most of the shift and may include heavy lifting over 50 pounds. Work conditions include use of sharp tools, rotating equipment, lifting machine shafts, and adjusting heavy rolls of paper. Duties require continuous mental and visual attention to ensure safety, proper quality of work, and machine operations.

Environment

Applicants must be comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Hearing protection and steel toed shoes are required. Safety, hygiene, and cleanliness is strictly enforced. Applicants must be able to engage in periods of long standing and walking, and perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Summary

Compensation Range: $24.80 - $29.00 hourly, consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. ACR reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
