Position: Plant Manager I , Manufacturing Plant Management

Role Overview

The Plant Manager I is responsible for leading manufacturing operations to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes. This role drives operational performance by aligning strategy, people, and processes to meet business goals and customer expectations. The position plays a key role in optimizing productivity, controlling costs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that drive operational efficiency, cost performance, and growth.
  • Lead safety, quality, and environmental initiatives to ensure compliance and a strong safety culture.
  • Optimize production capacity, delivery performance, and overall plant productivity through data‑driven decisions.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodologies to enhance processes and performance.
  • Build and develop high‑performing teams through talent development, engagement, and succession planning.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles within a plant environment or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to lead operations, drive productivity improvements, and manage cost performance.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing operational metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering, operations management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in complex or process‑driven manufacturing environments.
  • Certification or experience in Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems and quality management frameworks.
