Registered Nurse

We're looking for you to become a valuable part of the team.

• 1 opening -- night shift block, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Shift hours: 7:00pm to 7:30am (12-hour shifts)
• On-site, Western Massachusetts Hospital, Westfield, MA
• Float position across four specialized units
• Two-week orientation:
  Tuesday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Next orientation dates: 8/4/2026 and 8/24/2026
• 13-week contract with option to extend

• Provide direct nursing care to medically complex, long-term acute care patients
• Float across four specialized units: end of life, respiratory/tubes, ambulatory dementia, and neuromuscular
• Manage ventilator-dependent patients and patients with tubes and complex respiratory needs
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocol
• Monitor and document patient response to treatment and changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support individualized patient care plans
• Work closely and respectfully alongside CNA staff who provide the majority of direct patient contact
• Provide patient and family education and support

• Active Massachusetts RN license or NLC compact privilege to practice in Massachusetts
• LTAC, respiratory, end-of-life, or neuromuscular nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Huntington's disease or similar neuromuscular conditions a plus
• Comfortable floating across multiple high-acuity units
• Current BLS (American Heart Association only -- no online-only certifications)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
