Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Westfield, Massachusetts. The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered care in medical‑surgical and telemetry units, including assessing patient health, monitoring cardiac telemetry data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

• NIHSS certification
• ACLS (AHA / ARC) certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, document changes, and report concerns to the care team
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, assist physicians, and monitor responses
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients
• Document patient information in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs for multiple patients
• Adhere to infection control practices, including hand hygiene and PPE use
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences
• Facilitate discharge planning with patients, families, and external resources
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
• Proficiency in PC skills

• Remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend

• Work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)

• Perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move during procedures and/or using equipment

• Cope with frequent contact with general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
