Role
Travel Med Surg/Tele RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions
- Monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications
- Explain procedures
- Prepare patients for diagnostics
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document care
- Manage multiple patients
- Ensure infection control
- Advocate for patients
- Facilitate discharge planning
- Adhere to safety protocols
- Requires at least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS
- Critical thinking
- Excellent communication
