Role & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.

• Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, and prepare patients for procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately, advocate for patient needs, and ensure safety and infection control standards.
• Facilitate discharge planning and support patients and families throughout their care journey.
• Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritize clinical needs, and adhere to safety protocols.

• Minimum one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, effective communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical, technical, mental, and sensory skills necessary for patient care and safety.

• Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS.
• Explain procedures, administer treatments, assess and document patient status, assist with diagnostics and treatments, and ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, advocate for patients, and support discharge processes.
• Maintain infection control practices and comply with regulatory standards.
