Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Documentation Specialist reports to the Quality Manager and supports AS9100 compliance, customer documentation requirements, and ongoing Quality Management System (QMS) maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine data entry and maintain accurate records within the document management system to ensure documentation is readily available to customers and supports order fulfillment requirements.
  • Prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain and update controlled Test & Inspection Procedures and Incoming Inspection Procedures to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance.
  • Support ongoing Quality Management System documentation updates, including revision changes.
  • File Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Engineering Notices (ENs) and update related documentation to ensure records remain in compliance.
  • Assist in distributing and preparing Quality KPI reports for internal Quality Boards.
  • Conduct required testing and inspection activities, new hire onboarding and training to support the production operations, as required.
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement and standardization of quality standards and initiatives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Organized, reliable, and adaptable to multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new systems, processes, and tools.
Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described represent those needed to perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job duties. Primarily sedentary work in an office setting within a secured manufacturing facility. Occasional work is performed on the production floor. Regular use of hands and fingers, ability to sit for extended periods, frequent standing and walking, occasional reaching, bending, or stooping.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Salary Description

$19.50 - $23.00 hourly
