About the Role
As a Label Finishing and Inspection Specialist, you will ensure that every finished product meets rigorous quality standards before reaching the customer. You will play a vital role in maintaining brand integrity by utilizing advanced inspection equipment to identify print defects and verify technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate high-speed label rewinding and inspection machinery to process finished goods.
- Conduct thorough visual and automated inspections to verify color consistency, registration, and barcode readability.
- Detect and remove print imperfections, including ink smears, die-cut errors, and missing data.
- Maintain precise production records and quality documentation to ensure traceability.
- Prepare and package finished rolls according to specific customer requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and minimize material waste.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and GMP standards to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications
Required Skills- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to maintain high attention to detail during repetitive tasks.
- Strong foundational math and measurement skills.
- Capability to read and interpret complex work orders and technical specifications.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Prior experience operating label inspection or rewinding equipment such as Rotoflex or ABG systems.
- Background in flexographic or digital printing environments.
- Familiarity with pressure-sensitive label manufacturing.
- Experience with barcode verification software and quality assurance procedures.
