Seasonal Valve Technician Helper

Millennium Power Services is looking for motivated, mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Seasonal Valve Technician Helpers based out of Westfield, MA. If you enjoy hands-on work, traveling, learning valuable industrial skills, and working alongside experienced technicians in the field, this is an excellent opportunity to break into a high-demand industry.

In this role, you'll work directly with experienced Valve Technicians supporting the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial valves at customer facilities across a variety of industries. You'll gain real-world field experience, develop technical skills, and work in environments that most people never get the opportunity to see.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk position - every week brings something different. You'll travel to customer sites, work with a skilled team, and build experience that can open doors to long-term opportunities within the industrial and power services industry.

What You'll Do:

• Assist Valve Technicians with valve inspection, repair, maintenance, and installation
• Support field service projects at customer facilities throughout the region
• Learn to work with industrial valves, tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Assist with shop work and field assignments
• Follow strict safety and quality standards
• Work closely with experienced technicians and gain hands-on training in the trade

What We're Looking For:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using hand tools and working in industrial environments
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to travel and stay out of town during assignments
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Previous industrial, mechanical, automotive, construction, or military experience is a plus - but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in physically demanding environments

Compensation & Perks:

• Competitive hourly pay
• 20% pay increase while performing field work
• $65 daily allowance while traveling
