Picture your first week: you arrive at our Westfield facility and step into the engine room where mission-critical ammonia systems keep operations running. You’ll survey gauges, review logs, and listen for the subtle cues that tell you how the plant is feeling today. By mid-morning, you’re deep into a preventive maintenance check, and by afternoon, you’ve teamed up with a colleague to diagnose a finicky control signal—closing the loop with clear documentation before you wrap.
Your Impact Own the routine care of ammonia refrigeration equipment through scheduled maintenance and detailed inspections.
Pinpoint issues quickly, troubleshoot root causes, and carry out effective, lasting repairs.
Champion a safety-first mindset and uphold all applicable regulations and industry best practices.
Create and maintain precise maintenance and repair records.
Collaborate with peers to elevate system efficiency, uptime, and ready to respond to emergency calls and complete repairs as needed.
Support the growth of junior technicians through hands-on training and mentorship.
What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or refrigeration certification is preferred.
Documented experience working on ammonia refrigeration systems.
Solid grasp of HVAC fundamentals and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, and schematics.
Sharp problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Clear communicator and collaborative team player.
EPA certification for refrigerants is a plus.
