Forklift Technician

Role

Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining electric and propane industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.

• Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on MHE, including monitoring, trending, and logging work in computerized systems.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines for maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, calibrations, and inspections.
• Interpret plans, schematics, and manuals; assist with battery and electrical system repairs; support building, refrigeration, and electrical maintenance activities.
• Work in warehouse environments, including freezer areas, ensuring safety and proper handling of equipment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (AC/DC), hydraulic systems, and PLC controls.
• Experience with logging work orders and preventive maintenance, ideally with Crown, Raymond, or Toyota equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret technical schematics.
