Fleet Trailer Technician - 3rd Shift

Position Overview

Seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Trailer Technician, A Level responsible for maintaining fleet assets, primarily trailer chassis, with exposure to other vehicle types. The role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting shop projects to maximize asset uptime and safety culture.

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and lift-gates, ensuring inspections and repairs meet OEM and internal standards.
• Assist and learn from experienced technicians through reading, training modules, and hands-on work to develop technical skills.
• Complete detailed work orders documenting issues, causes, and corrections.
• Support shop projects to improve productivity and asset reliability.
• Travel as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-7 years mechanical experience, familiar with internal combustion engines and heavy-duty vehicle systems.
• ASE certifications preferred, with proficiency in maintenance, troubleshooting, and lift-gate systems.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods, and operate computers.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality repairs.
