- Can you travel between 1-4 weeks at a time between the months of March-November?
- Pesticide spray experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required) - clean record
- Pesticide Applicator’s License (Preferred)
This position requires applicants possess a valid drivers license and to work with a team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate can work on their feet for most of the day and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs and at least 21 years of age
. This position requires the ability to travel 1-4 weeks at a time between the months of March-September. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and continuing random drug tests
. Experience working with pesticides is highly valued.
- Assist in applying herbicides to the railroad and its surrounding properties
- Make safe and effective on the job decisions
- Drive a pickup truck with a trailer attached
- Perform addition and multiplication.
- Work in a crew of 2-3 people
- Show up on time and work in a professional manner
- Properly organize and fill out daily reports.
