Warehouse Porter Night Shift

Position Overview

Pay: $19.00 per hour + $2.00 freezer premium pay + $1.00 shift differential ($22.00 total start rate).

Schedule:

Sunday's, Monday's, Thursday's and Friday's night shift: 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Location:

61 Medeiros Way, Westfield MA 01089.

• Clean and maintain warehouse aisles and product slots.
• Clean spills including damaged product, oil, grease, broken glass, etc.
• Use sawdust, brooms, mops, or shovels as required.
• Clean slots with cleaning supplies and an electric scrubber, and replace product.
• Occasionally pull product out of the slot with a pallet jack and clean behind it with proper supplies and a scrubber.
• Clean break areas and offices as needed.
• Collect and bale plastic wrap throughout your shift.
• Sweep, mop, buff, and wax floors.
• Vacuum carpeted offices/working areas.
• Clean bathrooms (may require bleach products).
• Collect shredded paper and empty boxes.
• Collect paper to be taken to compactor.
• Empty trash cans.
• Clean fire extinguishers.
• Clean windows.
• Ensure lights are turned off and doors are locked when appropriate.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift; walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.; frequently lifting product weighing between 1 and 60 lbs. or more; lifting product ranging from floor to overhead; working on multiple levels of varying height; safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools.
