Automotive Service Lead - Drive Repairs & Service

Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in Rahway, NJ area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

• Support the Store Manager to ensure the retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively.
• Enforce established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Schedule mechanics/technicians’ work and manage outside orders.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of jobs and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain safety of team members and a safe work environment.

• Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services.
• Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians to ensure timely, high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Drive sales initiatives and communicate with customers to assess needs and provide information on repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with the in-store experience and strive to meet expectations.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
