Union County Educational Services Commission is a public school district that was established to provide innovative and cost‑effective educational programs for students with special needs, parents, and staff members of its 21 member districts. The Commission is currently seeking a High School Special Education Mathematics Teacher to fill a full‑time vacancy at Lamberts Mill Academy. Lamberts Mill Academy is a specialized high school designed for students with special needs who require a comprehensive therapeutic approach while receiving a rigorous course of study.
Students experience a traditional high school environment in a non‑traditional program. Our program blends academic rigor with comprehensive clinical and psychiatric services, social and daily living skills, transition services, and a wide range of enrichment programs to meet students at their levels.
- 8:20 – 2:40 p.m., Monday – Friday

- Salary: $62,345 – $93,280 (based on experience)
- Valid NJDOE Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate or Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND High School Mathematics Certification
- Prior experience teaching secondary education in public or private schools strongly preferred
- Prior experience working with adolescents with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities strongly preferred
- Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, time‑management, and communication skills
