Service Advisor

Location: Hybrid; based in Westfield, NJ

Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000 depending on experience | Full-Time | W2 with benefits

Our client is seeking a Service Advisor to join their established and growing wealth management team. This is a client-facing advisory support role where the right candidate will partner closely with senior advisors to deliver high-quality financial planning, investment implementation, and ongoing client service. The ideal person is collaborative and proactive, with experience working in an RIA environment and supporting client relationships.

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial plans in collaboration with lead advisors
• Support client meetings, proposals, and follow-up activities
• Serve as a point of contact for existing clients for service-related needs
• Implement investment strategies and process account-related transactions
• Analyze client data to identify financial planning opportunities
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in CRM and financial planning systems
• Support client retention and satisfaction initiatives
• Learn and adopt firm technologies and planning tools

• 5+ years of experience in a Service Advisor, Associate Advisor, or similar client-facing advisory support role
• Active Series 65 or Series 66 license
• Strong understanding of financial planning concepts, investments, and client service
• Prior experience working in an RIA environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Clear and professional communicator with a collaborative working style
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• CFP designation or progress toward CFP, and experience with Fidelity or Schwab platforms, a plus
