As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Technician to serve residential clients throughout North and Central New Jersey. This hands-on, on-the-road role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, can lead jobs independently, and wants to help shape a positive, high-performing team.

• Lead assigned residential restoration jobs from arrival through final customer walkthrough and payment.
• Perform tile and grout cleaning, grout color sealing, regrouting, caulking, minor tile repairs, and other hard-surface restoration services.
• Hone, polish, seal, and restore natural stone surfaces such as marble, granite, slate, and travertine, based on training and job requirements.
• Operate professional restoration equipment safely and efficiently while protecting the customer’s property and maintaining a clean job site.
• Communicate clearly with customers, answer questions, set expectations, and ensure they are thrilled with the completed work.
• Maintain the service vehicle, tools, equipment, inventory, and materials to company standards.
• Complete job documentation, process payments, and use company technology accurately and on time.
• Train, coach, and encourage newer technicians while creating a positive, respectful environment where teammates can do their best work.
• Communicate openly with the team, share lessons learned, and step in to help when another technician needs support.
• Represent Sir Grout with professionalism, integrity, accountability, and pride at every job.

• Work independently, manage time effectively, and take ownership of assigned jobs and customer outcomes.
• Troubleshoot field conditions, adapt the service plan when appropriate, and
  ** escalate
  * * concerns before they become larger problems.
• Inspect completed work for quality and consistency before presenting results to the customer.
• Lead by example, share practical knowledge, reinforce safe practices, and help less-experienced technicians build confidence and skill.
• Strengthen team culture through clear communication, respect, reliability, and a solutions-focused attitude.

• Hands-on experience in tile, grout, flooring, stone restoration, caulking, construction, maintenance, handyman work, painting, auto detailing, pressure washing, or a related service trade.
• Caulking experience preferred; tile installation/repair and natural-stone honing or polishing experience are highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to provide professional service in customers’ homes.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Comfort using mobile technology for job information, photos, paperwork, and payments.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background screening.
• Ability to lift and carry 40-50 pounds, kneel or bend as needed, and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Reliable, punctual, self-directed, safety-minded, and committed to being a positive, dependable teammate.
• A team-first attitude and the maturity to give and receive feedback respectfully.

Base pay: $30-$40 per hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated skill.
Additional earnings: performance-based production bonuses, upsell bonuses, customer-review incentives.
