We have an opening for a Principal Specialist, Contracts supporting the Global Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Sensors Contracts Team at RTX in Westford, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for cradle-to-grave contract administration activities, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and contract closeout. You will enable significant customer activities to fulfill contract requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
WhatYou Will Do
- Advise and represent the organization on contract negotiation and administration matters.
- Draft, interpret, and manage contract documents in support of Contracts and the Business Unit.
- Comply with and support Import/Export (ITAR/EAR) compliance requirements.
- Facilitate and ensure constant communication and coordination with the internal/external customer program team.
- Participate in the review, analysis, and negotiation of Terms and Conditions.
- Adhere to and comply with standardized corporate procedures and compliance documentation.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Disseminate customer contractual requirements within the organization.
- Act as liaison between internal and external customers.
- Perform proposal management and business risk mitigation.
- Perform Accounts Receivable management.
- Work autonomously with limited oversight and may provide input or guidance to lower-level professionals.
- Multi-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements.
- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience leading and/or administering U.S. Government contracts under FAR and/or DFARS, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, change management.
- Experience working Sole Source Proposals under TINA.
- Experience with external customer engagement and negotiating medium to high complexity contracts.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

86,800 USD – 165,200 USD (range may vary with experience).
