Job Description Qualifications- Minimum of two years college coursework or Associates Degree preferred
- Three to five years of strong office support or other relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google platforms, and Power School
- Strong accuracy with attention to detail
- Ability to recognize and resolve issues with minimal assistance
- Work independently to meet deadlines and collaboratively as a team member
- Exercise sound judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Possess clear and concise written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to foster a welcoming atmosphere
- Experience with in a school environment preferred
Reports To:
Building Principal and Assistant Principal
To meet and greet all students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a positive, professional and welcoming manner. To perform a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks of various degrees under minimal supervision and to efficiently manage the school office.
Duties and Responsibilities- Meet and greet all students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a positive, professional and welcoming manner
- Assist with daily operation of the elementary schools in cooperation with building administration
- Gather and report CORI information for all staff and volunteers
- Maintain staff attendance records
- Assist with school year opening and close out
- Ability to generate correspondence between school and home
- Draft Principal written and electronic correspondences/letters/documents
- Schedule school related appointments for the school administration
- Maintain school events calendar
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal / Assistant Principal
- Maintain school budget accounts
- Create, maintain and reconcile all budget documents, files, orders, and invoices
- Place purchase orders both electronically and or by mail with vendors
- Submit invoices to accounts payable for payment
- Prepare bank deposits
- Facilitate field trip payment processing
- Collect and submit timesheets
