Nashoba Valley Technical High School seeks a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to provide essential support to teachers and students with disabilities.

This full-time, school-year, hourly position involves assisting with IEP implementation in both general education and specialized settings.

Responsibilities include maintaining student confidentiality, delivering tailored instruction, fostering student social-emotional and academic growth, implementing behavior plans and IEP accommodations, collecting data on student progress, and collaborating with educators.

This role may involve working directly with an individual student (1:1), providing support in academic classes, or assisting in vocational settings. Specific assignments are subject to change based on student needs. The paraprofessional also performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the Special Education Coordinator or the Director of Student Services.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a Massachusetts-endorsed paraprofessional assessment (Para Pro or Work Keys), completed 48 college credits, or an associate's degree and prior experience with high school students with disabilities.

• Qualifications:
  
  Minimum – high school diploma or equivalent; and an Associates degree (or higher); or completion of 48 credit hours at an Institution of Higher Education; or completion of a formal Massachusetts endorsed assessment:
  Parapro or Work Keys. Previous work with special education children in a school setting, preferably High School aged. ABA training desirable.
