What you will do
Johnson Controls is currently seeking an Electronics Technician to work at our Westford, MA location. The Electronics Technician will be working from written or verbal instruction, perform the fabrication and testing of electronic assemblies and systems. A major portion of this job is the configuration of systems for test, including both hardware and software, and the testing of these systems for specified performance and for compliance with criteria in test plans and in agency standards.
This position is based onsite in Westford, MA. Candidates must be commuting distance to the facility, or able to relocate.
- Configure systems and perform tests on new and legacy products in an R&D environment.
- Troubleshoot/repair circuit boards.
- ASEET or equivalent training.
- Working knowledge of electrical units of measurement, including volt, ohm, ampere etc.
- Manual dexterity and skill sufficient to fabricate and repair printed circuit boards (SMT & through-hole) and electronic assemblies.
- Working knowledge of AC and DC electronic circuits.
- Familiarity with the use of test equipment used in product development such as oscilloscopes and meters.
- Familiarity with electrical and electronic components.
- US Citizen/Permanent Resident.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $65,000 - $85,000 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
