Building Engineer

Our client, a leader in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering & Technical Services department supporting the maintenance and operation of a smaller location. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Monitor and maintain building system operations including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling

+ Perform standard repairs and maintenance tasks

+ Handle patching, painting, and filter changes

+ Manage fan cooling units in ceilings and respond to hot/cold calls

+ Utilize CBRE's work order system and operate a tablet for work assignments

** What's Needed?*
* + 3-5 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or engineering

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word and Excel)

+ Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail

+ Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks effectively
