Role includes developing and preparing structural design calculations and construction plans for submittal on rehabilitation of existing and new facilities projects throughout the East Coast.
Successful candidate must be a licensed Professional Engineer and technically well-versed with a minimum of 8 years of building structural experience including successful Project Engineer / Project Management in the A/E/C field.
Responsibilities- Planning, scheduling, coordinating successful delivery of projects on time & budget.
- Attending meetings with clients, owners, architects & building managers.
- Leading technical designs from project kickoff to punch list.
- Interpreting/assuring compliance with all federal, state & local codes.
- Adhering to QA/QC process & providing final review of project documents.
- Assisting with business development, client management & proposal development.
- Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering with MS preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required, ideally for FL or eligible to obtain.
- Solid technical background, 8+ years of Structural engineering experience.
- Previous successful project engineer experience.
- Strong communication & good organizational skills.
- Familiarity with National Building Codes, Specs, Design standards and Revit BIM software.
