Role Summary

This position offers an exciting opportunity to support operations by developing and managing the supply chain that ensures program success. The role is onsite, requires U.S. citizenship, and involves managing complex high‑value subcontract relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare subcontracts and supporting documentation in accordance with departmental policies and FAR/DFAR/ITAR regulations.
  • Submit compliant RFQs/RFPs to suppliers to obtain pricing and perform cost and price analysis, including technical assessments of proposals.
  • Monitor supplier delivery commitments and work with suppliers to ensure contract delivery dates are met.
  • Administer subcontracts for all program phases—business development, capture strategy, pre‑solicitation, proposal, award, post‑award, and closeout—including negotiation, documentation, placement, and administration of complex and high‑value products.
  • Support major business proposal initiatives by requesting, analyzing, and evaluating supplier proposals/quotations, performing analysis, and negotiating for fair and reasonable price.
  • Ensure compliance with program and FAR requirements and subcontract terms and conditions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement events and assist other subcontract team members with day‑to‑day activities.
  • Build and maintain constructive, professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Participate in program and subcontract supplier reviews.
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully manage long‑term, complex supplier relationships and deliver results on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with FAR, DFAR, and ITAR regulations.
  • U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with international procurement and suppliers.
  • Ability to work closely with internal customers (PM, Engineering, Quality, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong problem‑solving and risk‑mitigation planning skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Team‑oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to self‑manage and multitask.
  • International travel (up to 10%) and domestic travel (up to 15%) may be required.
  • Experience with international procurement processes.
Benefits and Compensation

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and potential annual incentive compensation programs.
