Material Handler
Westford, MA
Pay: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour

The Material Handler II is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring materials are delivered to designated areas in a timely and efficient manner. This onsite, second-shift position supports manufacturing and assembly operations within a regulated environment. The role requires strong attention to detail, compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team setting.
Job Responsibilities- Perform physical and system-based material movements to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Generate work orders within the ERP system.
- Complete work order receipts accurately in the ERP system.
- Conduct cycle counts as required to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support coordination and flow of materials through manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Handle designated chemicals, such as isopropyl alcohol and sulfuric acid, following proper training and safety procedures.
- Work overtime as required to meet business needs.
- Support quality, environmental, and regulatory management systems in daily activities.
- Comply with FDA regulations and all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain positive and professional communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of inventory control experience, preferably in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing.
- Experience using ERP systems for inventory and work order processing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite and support second-shift hours (3:30 pm – 2:00 am).
- Ability to safely handle chemicals with proper training.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of inventory control experience, preferably in a regulated industry environment.
