Lead Inspection Technician III - 1st Shift

Our Client's products are everywhere around you. The materials they manufacture are produced for markets like consumer electronics, defense, and science, commercial aerospace, telecommunications infrastructure, medical, and energy. If you enjoy working in a cleanroom environment supporting the production of small optical components, and leading a team, this role might be perfect for you. In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting optical filters using a microscope, ensuring high-quality standards, and supporting high-volume manufacturing processes with precision and attention to detail.

You will work in a cleanroom setting, using microscopes and cleaning solutions to inspect delicate optical components. Your tasks will include operating shaping and inspection equipment, documenting work according to instructions, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Required Skills,

Education and Experience:

Previous experience working in a leadership position such as a group lead or supervisor

Demonstrated experience with microscope inspection and working with small, delicate materials (electronics, wafers, or optical products preferred)
Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing appropriate attire (smock, hair net, gloves)
High attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions

Basic computer skills for documentation and work instructions

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (typically around 10 lbs)
Previous experience working with semiconductor components or wafer fabrication is desired.
