What You’ll Own
  • Client Relationships
    • Own client relationships, developing a deep understanding of each institution’s goals and priorities so partnerships extend and expand over time
    • Serve as the internal authority on client needs and experience, advocating for clients across teams
    • Work closely with Account Management to keep the client experience consistent and positive
  • Sales
    • Design and run a strategic sales plan for a portfolio of clients
    • Build consultative client relationships and package integrated solutions
    • Manage the sales pipeline, proposals, and contract process proactively
    • Cross-Division Integration
      • Lead internal teams on client work, keeping strategy and delivery aligned
      • Act as the connection point for work moving across Carnegie’s divisions so clients get one coordinated partnership, not a collection of services
    What You Bring
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years in enrollment management, higher education marketing, or corporate sales and/or consulting
    • Demonstrated expertise in higher education enrollment management and/or marketing
    • Strong sales acumen and a competitive drive
    • Ability to think strategically and quickly work out solutions to complex problems
    • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and hold onto details
    • Ability to build and sustain strong client and internal relationships
    • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
    • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
    • Ability to learn new processes quickly and take constructive feedback well
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
    • Effective communication and time-management skills, plus comfort switching between multiple technology platforms, given the remote environment
    • Ability to travel an average of 25% of the year
    • Ability to work at a computer for prolonged periods
    Why This Role

Client partnerships are where Carnegie’s work either lands or doesn’t. This role exists because someone needs to own that — the relationship, the strategy, the sale, and the internal coordination that turns all of it into results a campus can point to. You’ll have real ownership of a client portfolio, direct influence on how Carnegie’s divisions work together, and a front-row view of what’s actually changing in higher ed enrollment and marketing.
