Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Oxford's client is looking for a contract software test engineer experienced in developing automated tests for embedded networking applications. This role is a 6 month contract, to start, in Westford, MA. It's 3-4 days a week onsite.

Role:
The contractor will be responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and reliability of embedded networking software across a range of hardware platforms.

Day to day tasks:

• Work along with dev team, responsible for the software releases, regression.
• Focus on the existing system and prepare for test strategy for web UI feature expansion.
• Understand and work towards next generation system features.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience using programming languages like Python (preferred), C#, orJava.
• Experience with XUnit or NUnit.
• Experience with Selenium.
• CI/CD Integration.
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• 4+ years of experience in embedded software QA, preferably in networking domains.
• Hands on test process experience and Test automation skills
• Networking skills i.e., understanding of Networking protocols, ports and sockets etc.
• Experience with Wireshark

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
