Senior Validation Architect – NVLink

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced technical leader passionate about defining advanced chip interconnects and protocols. The role focuses on defining next‑generation communications standards and products based on our current NVLink technology. The scope includes developing initial product requirements, collaborating with research, other architects, software/firmware, and product development teams, and shepherding the design through all phases of the product lifecycle.

• Work with other architects to define architectural modeling and testing requirements for new NVLink features
• Drive architectural testing requirements into lower‑level test benches
• Implement functional models and integrate them into full‑chip and multi‑chip environments for architectural validation as well as firmware/software development
• Support and debug tests in model, emulation, and post‑silicon environments

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 8+ years of experience in architecture, design, or verification
• Direct experience with innovative ASIC design processes
• Proficiency in C++ and scripting languages (Python, Makefile);

• Strong debugging skills in firmware/software environments and IP model integration
• Experience developing and executing test plans
• Completed and shipped multiple projects, with expertise in processor and/or I/O architecture
• A self‑starter excited to work as part of a small, dynamic team

Base salary ranges are $184,000–$287,500 USD (Level4) and $224,000–$356,500 USD (Level5). Eligible for equity and additional benefits.
