Position:
Senior Software Quality Engineer
Location:
Westford, MA – Onsite; relocation assistance not available.
Security:
Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure security, quality, and operational practices are consistently applied.
- Integrate and validate software in an Agile development environment.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
- Ensure adherence to Raytheon development processes, security requirements, and industry best practices.
- Participate in program team meetings, peer reviews, technical reviews, and formal reviews.
- Write and review formal test plans and test reports for software verification.
Qualifications:
- Degree in STEM or equivalent; minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience with systems integration and test for software products in an Agile environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience preparing and conducting audits with customers.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python.
- Experience participating in code reviews.
- Knowledge of hardware–software integration in real‑time embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Docker and virtualized environments.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible, Coverity.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience working with ISO
9000/AS9100.
Salary Range: $86,800 – $165,200 (USD).
