HPE / Juniper Networks is looking for a senior software engineer to work on its next generation Enterprise switching portfolio to incorporate active service performance monitoring capabilities from onset in cloud environment on its most successful platforms including MX, ACX and PTX product lines. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work alongside with our multi-site multi-service cloud engineering team members to share and learn best engineering practices, as well as actively contribute to build product from the ground up.

We are looking for a
** Software Engineer
** to work on the
** Active Assurance
** part of our
** Network Automation suite**. The product includes tools for measuring both performance and quality that can be used to assure the network. This is packaged in an easy-to-use API & user interface which is deployed in a micro-service Kubernetes infrastructure.
** Responsibilities:
** As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Juniper Network Automation Software Engineering team with the full-stack development responsibilities emphasis on UI including:
* Assist in design and implementation of micro-service-based cloud network monitoring responsive Web  UI (Front-end) Design along with corresponding backend API Implementation using Golang, Python & Postgres deployed in a Kubernetes environment
* Contribute to the integration and testing of the developed application.
* Document software designs and procedures.
* Use of Juniper router data to develop network monitoring applications.
* Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of problems found, both in-process and escalations from the field
* Demonstrate exemplary behavior in following proper engineering processes to manage risks and systematically achieve high product quality.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** BS or MS Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
* 5-7 years of Proficiency in the core technologies of the web:
Java script, React

JS, NodeJS, and it's core principles as well as relevant Golang experience
* Experience with micro-frontend
* Experience with implementing responsive web designs and writing unit and integration tests
* Experience in working with one or more of the following infrastructure components like Postgres, Kafka, Elastic Search, Redis
* Hands on experience developing software, debugging, and deploying application on Linux operating systems.
* Aware of Agile / Scrum development environment
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Good verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organization.
* Familiarity with Git
