Software Engineer, Senior Developer
NVIDIA is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Subnet Manager team. This team develops network management software that configures network devices and routing tables of NVLink and large-scale Infini Band networks powering the world’s most advanced supercomputers. In this role, you will design and implement new features, and collaborate closely with different teams across NVIDIA to deliver robust and scalable networking solutions.
This position offers a rare opportunity to influence the architecture and development of our software, contributing directly to the world’s leading AI and HPC systems.
- Design, develop and optimize the server application responsible for managing NVLink networks of thousands of network devices
- Collaborate with multiple teams in our multi‑functional environment on developing new features and improvements
- Participate in the design and architecture of next‑generation network solutions for supercomputers
- Manage issues during integration, testing, deployment & QA
- Work and collaborate with team members in different geographical locations
- BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Proficient knowledge in C/C++
- Strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of algorithms and proficiency with data structures
- Self‑driven and quick learning abilities
- Knowledge of network topologies design and routing algorithms
- Experience in performance optimizations
- Demonstrated use of creative ideas, providing solutions to challenging problems
- Excellent social and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is $184,000 - $287,500 USD for Level 4, and $224,000 - $356,500 USD for Level 5. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
