Job DescriptionDo you bring out the star in your students? Taylor Robinson Music has the philosophy “Learn to Play From the Heart”, and we are looking for private music instructors who share this philosophy. We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.
QualificationsAn application must include a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience. Formal music training is not mandatory, but at least one of these qualifications is required. Candidates should have strong communication skills, be organized and punctual for lessons.
ResponsibilitiesTeach private music lessons on a variety of instruments. Conduct lessons in students’ homes, your own home or studio, or via webcam. Manage scheduling and curriculum/lesson planning independently as an independent contractor. Maintain lesson retention and student communication. Adhere to local COVID-19 precautions, wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
RemunerationPaid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, experience/education and student retention rate.
LocationWestlake, FL. Must be able to host lessons locally or travel to students in the area.
