Position: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Lead (Finance & Operations)

The Role

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Lead (Finance & Operations), you will own the functional leadership of the D365 F&O ERP, ensuring financial and operational processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business strategy
.

You will act as the key bridge between Finance, Operations, and IT
, driving adoption, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead Fin Ops initiatives and manage related projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Own functional processes across PO, AP, AR, GL, and Fixed Assets
  • Design, optimize, and maintain end-to-end financial processes
  • Document and maintain Fin Ops processes and system mappings
  • Drive process improvements and change management initiatives
  • Standardize business practices using Dynamics 365 F&O best practices
  • Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams
  • Lead workshops and meetings with key users, SMEs, and functional leaders
  • Translate business requirements into functional ERP solutions
  • Support month-end close activities
    , including accruals and reconciliations
  • Assist Operations with monthly P&L reviews and variance analysis
  • Monitor daily financial operations and ongoing initiatives
  • Lead system enhancements, updates, and testing efforts
  • Maintain functional documentation using Task Recorder and RSAT
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Finance-related processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with Dynamics 365 F&O
  • Strong functional leadership and process-oriented mindset
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and account reconciliation capabilities
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Task Recorder, RSAT, Logic Apps
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certifications 📜
